Welcome
I'm an Assistant Professor with the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Cincinnati where I teach American Political Thought.
Previously I was Lecturer at the University of California Davis where I taught courses on topics ranging from legislative behavior to survey research.
My research focuses on the representation of nonreligious persons in the US as well as political polarization and vaccine hesitancy.
I conduct survey research to examine how partisanship effects mass level interpersonal decisions. My work on how egocentric social networks affect vaccine hesitancy has been published in American Politics Research as well as my work on nonreligious candidates . My work on polarization is published in PLOS ONE.

Prior to grad school I received my BA in political science from Case Western Reserve University.

Aside from research, I'm a Marvel movie fan, amateur chef, and strategy game enthusiast.
